which is the best national park to take elephant pictures in Kenya safari

I love elephants and I want to take many pictures of elephant families on my safari to Kenya. Which national park or parks in Kenya will give me elephants in plenty? this is my main wish , to built my own elephant picture gallery.

You will just love the elephants in the national parks in Kenya. And they come in all sizes: The matriarch leading the herd, the young bulls, the kids safely sandwiched by the mothers and the sneaky teenagers playful and testing each others strength , just like teenagers are wont to do. Now to the elephant pictures and and which park in Kenya.

You can find elephants in any of the big national parks in Kenya: Masai Mara, Tsavo, Amboseli, Aberdares, Samburu , Meru, Mt.Kenya and the Shimba Hills - if you happen to be down at the Coast.

Where do you get the drama that you need in good pictures of elephants. My take is just about in any park but you have to create quality time to be out in the field for long so as to get those one-of-kind poses. The roll in the mud, a dust bath, water spraying , name it.

Depending on the number of days you have choose to spend longer in selected parks rather than roam around the country for quick shots in all parks.

The habitat will have a big an influence on the kind of elephant pictures you will take. For example Amboseli have the dust bowl effect, Masai Mara has the open Savannah plains, Tsavo is hilly outcrops , Samburu is the semi-desert , Aberdares, Mt.Kenya and Shimba give the rain forest effect.
