ONTDEK KENYA TOUR REPORT
by Michelle Pappe

Hi Anne,

Well, we made it home after that crazy long day and a half of flying! We took Peter's advice and ate at the Simba restaurant at the Airport and enjoyed a long meal. Please thank him for the suggestion. We were able to look at some of our photos on our cameras and we were reminiscing about the trip. What a wonderful safari!

Kenya tour report - Grey-headed Kingfisher

I can say that before the Kenya trip I was one of those people that would say birds smirds, who's interested in birds? But I was floored by how well both you and Elijah knew your birds and were excited about birds. This excitement rubbed off on me as well. I must say after seeing so many unusual and beautiful birds on your safari, I now notice birds more and am interested in trying to determine what type of birds they are.

I also can't believe all the animals we were able to see in their natural environments. Even at the more popular parks, I never felt like we were competing with minivans or other tour groups to see the animals. Although they were there, we seemed to be doing the opposite of what the crowds were doing - and that was a good thing! In fact, more times than not, it felt like we were the only ones on safari and at the camps.

Walking, birding, big and small animals, small tours, different types of safari experiences - Ontdek is the way to go!

Thank you Anne, for such a wonderful trip!
