This Kenya travel report was posted on Trip Advisor on Aug 23, 2009 We, father and two daughters (11 and 17), booked on Ontdek after some research on the Internet. Like other guests we were picked up from the airport and helped on our way with Elijah, our guide. Together with Peter we made more or less our own program, following our interests and specific demands. We found, that the suggestions Peter made in the organization were very valuable and even some practical changes in the program during our trip were good examples of the commitment of Ontdek Kenya.
Our guide Elijah was with us during our ten-days stay and he also was very committed to the three of us, especially the children. We were impressed by his knowledge of wildlife especially birds)and he managed to spot the hard to find leopard already the first day. It seemed that he was able to spot birds or big animals on demand.
We were very pleased with the care, in the organization as well as during our stay, of Ontdek Kenya and with the well maintained truck we were driving in.
